Land for Life: Lobbying for Land Rights and Reforms

Ill-defined land rights, protracted land reforms, and irresponsible investments have led to food insecurity in Ethiopia, Burkina Faso, Liberia, and Sierra Leone, especially among people in rural areas. Welthungerhilfe is participating in a lobbying programme: Land for Life. In the second phase of the programme, Welthungerhilfe is promoting the successful multiple-actor partnership approach that brings affected people together with interested parties from government, civil society, and the private sector to find joint solutions to issues such as formalising people’s rights of tenure.
