Better Security and Organisation in Refugee Camps
In several regions of Ethiopia, many interally displaced people (IDP) live in poorly organised informal camps. Due to the conflict in the Tigray region, the number of people displaced throughout the country continues to increase. This project aims to improve living conditions in the camps, for example by building organisational capacity so that the people there can both administer the sites on their own and secure the development of basic infrastructure. Other measures contribute to improving relations with local populations and to upgrading security in the camps.
